Hi, I’m Mars Alva, a Houston-based creative producer working across video, photography, editing, graphic design, art direction, and brand strategy. I picked up my first camera at 15 and started making short films and YouTube content back before it was cool. Since then, I've turned that curiosity into a career built around storytelling, creative problem-solving, and bringing ideas to life.With a degree in Media Production from the University of Houston and experience spanning commercial production, music videos, independent film, branded content, and marketing, I've learned to approach creative work from both sides: the craft of making something and the strategy behind why it matters.I enjoy being involved in every stage of a project, from developing the initial concept to getting hands-on with production and post-production. I don't believe in creating content just to fill a calendar. I want to make work that feels intentional, tells a story, and gives people a reason to care.Today, I'm an independent Creative Partner at Chromality, a creative studio and collective turning advertising into entertainment. As one of its first creative partners, I collaborate on larger projects that align with this mission while continuing to work independently with my own clients.At the end of the day, I'm a creative who likes to wear a lot of hats, learn new things, and make things I'm proud of. I'm less interested in fitting into one box and more interested in finding the right way to bring each idea to life.
